Find a suitable picture to use with this tutorial (link is broken, for now try this tutorial even though the grammar is awful)on how to make a stencil in photoshop. Use these brushes to make something that looks like mine. I used the "Stencil" font for the words. Be creative and make it look good!

GIMP is a free photo editor that is very powerful. However, it's a lot different than photoshop and has a little learning curve. Remember, this assignment is bonus, and replaces your lowest quiz grade with a 100%.

UPDATE- You can do any tutorial you find online in the GIMP for bonus. Post the URL and your results for credit.

I'll show you how to set up a rollover in photoshop and imageready, and we'll use this optical illusion tutorial. Here's mine Stare at the dot for 30 seconds, then move your mouse into the picture without moving your eyes from the dot. The picture will be in color until you move your eyes or the mouse. Don't forget the method to center the dot on the screen, as well as the step in imageready to create the rollover files. You will not be able to post the html files here, so I'll give instructions on how to turn this in in class.

Complete these two and send the jpg to me, with your name on it. Place the two tutorials into ONE jpg and post it in your comments
