Here's the great simple machines activity for the third grade.

Try to find a hero and be ready to tell why your person is a hero for next week's class. If you'd like, you can visit My Hero and see how the site works and what other students pages look like. We'll be working on this for a while, so you'll have plenty of time to make a great my hero report!

Here's some of the things that make a great hero:

* Does good things
* Doesn't do bad things
* Helps people and kids
* Stands up for their beliefs
* May invent new things
* Starts change
